Dr.Blekie, has retired from the Board as she relocated to Gauteng to be nearer her son. Unfortunately, the Board has not been able to honour and thank her properly for all the work she did, serving on the Mosamaria Board for over 25 years.
Mosamaria is very grateful to the members of the Board who attend meetings regularly, to give guidance and support, as without them, Mosamaria could not exist.
Mme Msibi, the Mosamaria Chaplain, has played a very active part in the work of Mosamaria this year, getting involved with all the work, like agreeing to be counselled and tested herself at a student Outreach, to set an example, and handing out condoms dressed in her priest’s outfit with a “dog collar”. She has also been involved with the OVC, teaching them about the real meaning of Easter and Christmas, and helping prepare and serve the food.
