Mosamaria AIDS Ministry has two (2) Adherence Programme Officer vacancies in its chronic adherence clubs programme and encourages suitably qualified candidates to apply.
Position: Adherence Programme Officer (X1 Botshabelo and X1 Bloemfontein)
Location: Free State: Mangaung
Type of Appointment: Fixed Term Contract (until March 2019)
Main purpose:
To assist the Adherence Programme Coordinator in the roll-out and implementation of the chronic adherence clubs programme in Mangaung Metro; ensure overall coordination of all the required sessions at all the facilities and communities wherein the programme is implemented; and ensure that logistics and resources required for the sessions are in place; ensure targets and M&E components are met; and interact directly with the district Department of Health and facility management teams.
Qualifications and Experience required:
The suitable candidate must have proven project management experience. Hold a tertiary qualification (Degree) in a health related field or social sciences with at least 3 years’ experience in a health or related field.
Job competencies/ Abilities/ Skills required:
- Valid code 08 drivers license (and own car essential for Botshabelo post)
- Strong computer skills – Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point,
Lotus Notes and/or MS Outlook
- Attention to detail, logical and analytical thinker
- Proactive and innovative, able to work independently and have presentation/facilitation skills
- Provide direction and supervision to Chronic Adherence Club Facilitators
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication is essential
